COMMITTEES

Ambassador Committee

Welcomes new members into the GBMCC and becomes mentors to new members offering to accompany them to Chamber events and encouraging them to become involved and support GBMCC events, programs, and other members.

Business To Business/Event Program Committee

Plan networking opportunities for our members, informative seminars, lunch and learns, breakfast boot camps, Chamber Unplugged, and virtual events.

Golf Outing Committee

Secures contract with golf course, helps secure sponsors, golfers, volunteers, signage, gifts, and raffles and oversees golfers the day of the outing. A portion of the proceeds from this annual event go towards scholarships for graduating seniors at Archbishop Wood High School, Middle Bucks Institute of Technology, and William Tennent High School.

Governmental Affairs

Help coordinate and plan events, such as State of the State, State of the County, etc.

Health and Wellness Committee

Works with GBMCC members falling into the Health and Wellness category to secure events, such as health fairs and other health-related virtual or live events.

Nomination Committee

Accepts nominations and conducts interviews of prospective new Chamber Board Members. Ensures proper number of board members and that board members are in good standing. President of the Chamber leads this committee.

Scholarship Review Committee

Each year at the Annual Scholarship Luncheon, the Chamber awards scholarships to graduating students from Archbishop Wood High School, Middle Bucks Institute of Technology, and William Tennent High School. This is funded from a portion of the proceeds from our Annual Scholarship Golf Outing. The committee solicits and receives scholarship applications and selects the scholarship recipients.

GROUPS

Men2Men (M2M)

Open to all male members of the GBMCC to promote professional and personal development through networking, education, advocacy, and community engagement.

Non-Profit2Non-Profit (NP2NP)

Open to all members of non-profit organizations to provide support, share resources, and create educational opportunities relevant to the non-profit community.

Women2Women (W2W)

Open to all female members of the GBMCC to encourage business and personal relationships. We don’t just give out business cards – we create real relationships! Our mission is to fundraise for scholarships for single, working Moms at Bucks County Community College. Within this group, there are opportunities for our W2W Scholarship Review Committee, as well as opportunities to create and promote our annual fundraising event.

Young Professionals2Young Professionals (YP2YP)

Open to motivated young professional eager to expand your network, sharpen your skills, and leave a mark on your community; a vibrant new chamber benefit dedicated to supporting emerging leaders.
